The Story Behind SB Dance 340

SB Dance 340 was born from a shared love of dance, music, Caribbean culture, and movement.

The S and B represent Sherell and Benedicta, whose shared journey began at the same dance school — Caribbean Dance School. Sherell began training at the age of three, while Benedicta began at age seven. From those early beginnings, dance became a lifelong passion and a foundation for their shared vision.

Both Sherell and Benedicta later travelled to Europe as apprentices, continuing to develop their artistry and professional experience. They went on to tour around the world as senior company members of the Caribbean Dance Company, performing and sharing Caribbean culture through dance.

The 340 represents the U.S. Virgin Islands — home, culture, rhythm, and the Caribbean roots that continue to inspire the heart of SB Dance 340.

With decades of dance experience between them, SB Dance 340 brings together performance, choreography, fitness, and Caribbean influence to create a space where people can move, learn, connect, and enjoy dance.
